• Each team has a squad of 15 co-ed players
• Teams are arranged into groups.
• Games are 7-a-side with unlimited substitutions
• One female player must be on the pitch at all times
• Games are 30 minutes
• No sliding tackles
• Team jerseys are provided for each player (players must raise at least $150 to claim their jersey)
• Cleats & shin guards required
• We use artificial turf and play rain or shine
• Captains will vote to determine team fundraising goals to earn points (and avoid losing points) to start the tournament. For example, captains might determine that a team who fails to raise at least $5,000 will start the tournament with -1 point, while a team raising more than $5,000 starts the tournament with +1 point. Soccer in the Streets will work with the captains to determine the team fundraising level(s) and we will email all players with the decision at least 3 weeks prior to the event.
